Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with the Service, including AI-specific restrictions.

1. Effective Date and Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is effective as of August 3, 2026 and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. It defines prohibited uses of Privacy, Visually Simplified | Privasim and the consequences of violation.

2. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Generate, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy.
  • Generate content that exploits or harms minors in any way, including content that sexualizes or endangers children.
  • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party, including by submitting content you do not have the right to use.
  • Use AI features to produce malware, phishing content, disinformation, or material intended to deceive or defraud.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code, models, or internal workings of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing viruses, overloading servers, scraping, or automated access beyond reasonable use.
  • Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any safety filters, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Access or use the Service using another user's credentials without authorization.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent.

3. AI-Specific Restrictions

Because the Service includes AI generation capabilities, you additionally agree not to:

  • Use AI features to generate content that promotes self-harm, violence, terrorism, or hate speech.
  • Use AI features to generate content that impersonates a real person without consent, including deepfakes.
  • Submit confidential or regulated data (e.g., protected health information, classified information) into AI features.
  • Use outputs from the Service to train competing AI models without our written consent.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action without notice, including:

  • Removing or disabling access to violating content.
  • Issuing warnings or suspending access to specific features.
  • Suspending or terminating your account.
  • Reporting violations to law enforcement when required by law.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason, including violation of this AUP.

5. Reporting Violations

To report a violation of this AUP, email contact@privasim.com with details and, where possible, a link to the offending content. We review reports and take action where appropriate.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
