Copyright & DMCA Policy

This Copyright & DMCA Policy is effective as of August 3, 2026 and describes how Privacy, Visually Simplified | Privasim responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated copyright agent at contact@privasim.com containing:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g., a URL).
• Your contact information, including name, address, email, and phone number.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to contact@privasim.com containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the removed material and its location before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in Delaware (or your address, if outside the US).

We may restore the removed material within 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice, unless we first receive notice that you have filed a court action.

In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances.

Submitting a false or bad-faith DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Ensure your notice is accurate before submitting.
